Moonrise

This bright moon sits alone in the sky. The sun has gone and left behind a path of light at the bottom of the scene, a memory of the day.

This print is an original linocut block print, part of a limited edition of only 50 prints. All of the details are carved by hand into a flat piece of linoleum, then the block is inked up and lots of pressure is used to transfer the image onto paper. Each print is handprinted on cream-colored cotton paper using a custom color gradient mixed from oil-based inks. Each of the four paper edges are either the natural deckle or a torn edge.

Because each print is hand-inked and hand-printed, there will be slight variations between prints. Prints are sold unframed.
